Alternative Urban Solutions, LLC (AUS) is an agency dedicated to building leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesswomen among women of color, especially in the East African community to enrich their quality of life. We enhance the chances for women of color to get better employment opportunities by connecting them to the right resources for skill development, employment training, and mentorship.

Employment Training
Due to inequalities in employment, women of color face many difficulties in their professional careers. Sometimes when organizations and businesses ensure equality they cannot recruit black women because of the lack of specific skill or education. Employment training is one of the services that help young black women to foster industry-specific growth, mentorship, education, and skills-building.
Job Search Assistance
If you need some specific skills associated with your desired job, you may need to enroll in the employment training program. Due to the high level of difficulties experienced by women of color in searching for suitable employment, Alternative-Urban-Solutions strives to remove any barriers by providing you with relevant job assistance.
GED Prep
If you want to pursue your GED prep, we support your ambition and enable you to get prepared for the tests. You can get the preparation for courses of social studies, math, science, writing, and reading for different sections. Alternative-Urban-Solutions strives to remove any disparities in education for women of color.
Resume Building
Usually, employers don’t have much time to explore every detail. We help you build a resume that is career and industry-specific after discussing your employment endeavors. By understanding your expectations regarding employment, we showcase the right skills for your target job in your resume.
