Mentorship

Employment training

Due to inequalities in employment, women of color face many difficulties in their professional careers. Sometimes when organizations and businesses ensure equality they cannot recruit black women because of the lack of specific skill or

education. Employment training is one of the services that help young black women to foster industry-specific growth, mentorship, education, and skills-building. GED Prep

Alternative-Urban-Solutions help women of color in getting standard training and preparation for the GED. Minority women do not always have the support to accomplish their dream of taking GED tests. We have a partnership with schools that can

help young black women to prepare for different sections of the test. If you want to pursue your GED prep, we support your ambition and enable you to get prepared for the tests. You can get the preparation for courses of social studies, math, science, writing, and reading for different sections. Alternative-Urban-Solutions strives to remove any disparities in education for women of color.

Filing of Medical Forms

Getting the medical insurance and filling out the medical form is often intimidating for black women. Especially, if you don’t have much knowledge or language expertise, you might be overwhelmed by this task. Alternative-Urban-Solutions
